2025 Christmas Basket Program

August 1, 2025
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
While the summer sun is still shining and the holidays may seem far away, the Santa Paula Rotary Club is already hard at work planning our annual Christmas Basket Program—a beloved tradition that brings holiday cheer and essential supplies to hundreds of local families in need.
Each December, thanks to your generosity, we provide food, toys, and warm wishes to families throughout Santa Paula. Last year, we delivered over 300 baskets to children and families who might otherwise go without during the holidays.
This summer, we’re asking for your support early so we can meet growing needs and rising costs. Early donations allow us to:
  • Secure food at bulk pricing
  • Purchase toys and supplies before seasonal shortages
  • Coordinate logistics well in advance
  • Reach more families than ever before
Whether it’s $25, $100, or more, your contribution will go directly toward bringing joy, dignity, and relief to members of our community.
Ways to Donate:
  • Donate online at: https://sprotarychristmasbaskets.com/
  • Mail a check to: Santa Paula Rotary Club, P.O. Box 809, Santa Paula, CA 93061
  • Become a sponsor or organize a toy/food drive through your business, school, or organization
Thank you for standing with us—not just during the holidays, but all year round. Your kindness ensures that no one in Santa Paula is forgotten.

RI President-elect Sakuji Tanaka unveiled the 2012-13 RI theme, Peace Through Service, during the opening plenary session of the 2012 International Assembly, a training event for incoming Rotary district governors.

RI President-elect Sakuji Tanaka will ask Rotarians to buildPeace Through Service in 2012-13. "Peace, in all of the ways that we can understand it, is a real goal and a realistic goal for Rotary," he said. "Peace is not something that can only be achieved through agreements, by governments, or through heroic struggles. It is something that we can find and that we can achieve, every day and in many simple ways."
